ICJ Scholarship MA/PHD - 2026-2027

Announces
Fellowships for outstanding MA and Doctoral Students 2026-2027

The Fellowship is awarded to advanced students at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, intellectual depth, and originality in the following fields:

  1. Holocaust (Renia Perel, Shimon Wiesenthal, Hungary)
  2. Holocaust and Genocide
  3. Antisemitism and Racism
  4. Zionisim, State of Israel and Israel society in broad meaning
  5. Diaspora Jewry and State of Israel 20-21 centuries
  6. Jewish Education (Monte Nathanson)

The Fellowship is offered for the 2026–2027 academic year. An extension for one additional year may be granted, contingent upon substantial progress in the research and subject to approval by the ICJ Academic Committee. Fellows are expected to be present at the Center for no fewer than three days per week and to participate actively in the academic activities of the Center and the Institute. The Fellowship will commence on October 1, 2026.

The Fellowship provides an annual stipend of USD 12,000 for MA students and USD 15,000 for PhD candidates.
