Documenting the Holocaust , Methodology, Challenges, Scholarly
Significance

Dr. Heim will present the 16 volumes series of documents on the Holocaust which is now completed in German and of which 5 volumes are already out in English. The whole series encompasses about 5.000 documents from all across Europe, from the perspective of victims, perpetrators and bystanders and will be fully published also in English. A selection will also be published in Hebrew. Dr. Heim will present an overview of the political and historiographical considerations that led to the creation of the project, the main principles for the selection of documents and the structure of the series, the scholarly results and new insights.

This is an exceptionally important scholarly and pedagogical resource that is essential for all students, teachers, researchers and scholars of Holocaust history.
